"The secret of becoming inspired is in knowing that you already are! That you and the source of all inspiration are one and there is no separation between you. There is no thinking needed, and so to say that the secret of becoming inspired is in just knowing that you are seems almost incorrect, if you are one of those people who can only understand knowing in terms of what you think ...or what you think you know ...or know you think.
True inspiration goes beyond thinking; it bypasses thought and comes from knowing, within your heart, soul and every molecule of your being, that you are one with the very stuff of inspiration, that you are love. And once you begin to know this, in every waking moment, allowing your life to become a mysteriously emerging song, you are perhaps allowed just enough thought to transfer this feeling onto paper, or into words or, perhaps, into simply the way you live your life. As a glorious hymn of remembrance of that which you truly are, allowing every being you meet to become touched by the very breath of God, within you, and reminded, also, of who they are.
The secret of becoming inspired, then, is to stop thinking about it and to just do it, live it breath it and become it, or rather...let it become you...
George stared down at the paper in front of him. He had no idea what he'd just written but it felt good. He was, also, fairly certain that he hadn't written it, at all. It had written itself...or something...someone else, perhaps the owner of that strange, new voice in his head, had written it through him..."
Operation Soulmate
The rest of the week dragged on, as Jerica eagerly anticipated her next session. And when she finally walked into Josephine's cosy office, she felt almost overwhelmed with excitement about what might be waiting to be revealed in the impending regression.
They spoke briefly, about her revelations and healing since their previous meeting and Josephine, warmly congratulated Jerica and celebrated her new and tentative re-introduction to her innocently, loving being. She also reminded her of something, of which Jerica was already, only too well, aware. That the path she was on, although not entirely easy, was, absolutely, the most honourable path one could step onto, in any, given lifetime.
"As we peel away at the invisible layers of the illusion of who, or what, we are and begin to find the truth, we gift everyone around us with the same opportunity. Simply by operating at this level of self-awareness and striving for the very best and brightest within ourselves, we become sparkling jewels, which bring out the best and brightest in everyone who comes our way, and blesses us with their presence in our lives. And in that way, Jerica, we do, indeed, make the world a better place. This is invisible work! Only the brave and fearless can walk this way, those who are content to work underground, in secret and without visible reward. It's the path of the true mystic, an alchemist of the soul, to uplift the hearts and souls of all, from the quietness within, where no one else can see, or truly appreciate the golden gifts we bring. But we do it, nevertheless, for ourselves and for humanity....for love. And that is the mark and the magic of a true Bobbhisattva."
Jerica smiled as she absorbed the beauty of what Josephine was saying. She took in the many statues of The Buddha, which peacefully decorated her office and sighed, contentedly. She couldnt help feeling a bit guilty though, knowing that she was primarily there for her own, selfish reasons. The loneliness, the desperate search for true love, the emptiness: surely, simply wanting to end the pain didn't make her any kind of Buddha, just deeply, deeply human and flawed and still very, very single...
Spacebook Sorceress
Lorna raced to the computer in a moment of sudden insight. She had to check her new email. At least if, as she fully expected to be the case, there was nothing new to read, it might mean that things in cyber-world were beginning to settle down a bit, thereby, allowing for the vague possibility that real life might soon follow suit, suddenly, obediently imitating the new tranquillity of the strange, parallel universe she had unwittingly created.
She logged on to the fresh, new account. How could she already have two emails?!! She took a deep breath and a closer look. One was from the email company, welcoming her to her new account and the other was from the God-guy!!! Okay, that was it. The God-guy was God. It was the only reasonable explanation, and probably the most sensible thing she could assume, if she was to ever going to get help from anyone, anywhere, in unravelling this whole seamy turn of events. She could find out who he really was later, but for now, he was the only one who seemed to know anything that could be even remotely helpful to her and, whether or not he was willing to share it, he was, now, definitely, her only hope. She quickly clicked on the email and opened up the new text with growing apprehension.
Dearest, Lorna, Beloved Child,
I know my-selves, only too well that finding the right words ...is not always easy. Lol.
Rest assured that I am helping you in this, as much as I can.
It will come to you....
Lovingly,
God
Lorna sat back and reread the email a few times. It was hardly conclusive. And would God, really say, 'Lol' like that? It just seemed so...wrong. She paused briefly over the keys. He definitely knew the formula, to undo this mess, she was sure of it. But for some reason, he was being deliberately oblique and unhelpful, yet again.
Dear... "God"
She began and then thought better of it. Putting him in quotes like that might not go down too well.
Dear God-guy,
Nope, too flippant. If this guy was going to take himself so utterly seriously, she would probably have to do the same, in order to get any kind of meaningful response from him...
Dear God,
Okay, Ive learned my lesson now. I just want to undo this whole, sorry mess. Why am I still being punished for something that was basically an accident? What exactly did I do that was so heinous? People have crushes all the time? I know you can help me with this...Please reply asap. Things are getting kind of heavy...
Catching Feathers in the Wind
"...Give as if you are sitting on top of the world and have everything to offer, even when you truly feel yourself to be at the bottom of the heap with nothing to show for a life spent in struggle; then you are rich indeed. Eat up joy as if it were your last meal and stare down pain as if it were just another passing breeze, causing you to huddle into your overcoat, but not something that could kill you. View all suffering as if it were a bad dream, and wake up renewed and refreshed in each new moment, secure in the knowledge this is not who you are, but a passing, ever-changing moment in some engaging drama, which can be seen, in an instant, in any way you choose to see it. And know, always, that we are with you, watching out for you, guiding you in greater number than ever before and that you are never alone. You have only to ask for our help. Speak to us constantly and we will become increasingly real until one day we will all walk together once again as it was in the beginning but without the aid of death or dreaming. Rise from sleep each day with fresh, new eyes ready to love and to trust again in each new day. Reach out when you see suffering and keep on reaching. Give and give and give again and again without worrying about going without or being taken for a fool. For love has its own wisdom.Refuse to tolerate injustice because everything you see in your world that you dislike has been created by your own in-difference; your inability to see that YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Know that every being has locked away inside it, the memory of a deep, limitless and unending love that longs to see the light of day. And every atom and sub atom and even the air you breathe, and all else that you cannot see, must do what it must do, to find that love within itself. For, all is love. And without love, all is lost..."
Four exciting, new novels, exploring sparkling, spiritual themes and deeply human dilemmas.
A vast range of possibilities in consciousness, lovingly excavated with irrepressible humour and joy.
A Brief Bio
I've been expressing myself, creatively, through the written and spoken word, for as long as I can remember and can still remember writing my first poem, first song and first novel.
Developing this particular style of writing - partly inspired, partly human-crafted - for the last eight years, has been an incredible journey of awakening and realisation.
These books are my contribution to shedding light on some of life's brighter possibilities, in these perplexing and potentially miraculous times. An opportunity to see the bird's-eye view of this fascinating journey we call life and to weave into it's seeming complexity, a little magic, humour, mystery, love, lightness, simplicity and awakening... to brighter possibilities.
My passion for creativity informs my writing constantly. Having studied drama to post graduate level has given me a deep respect for character development, dialogue, humour, plot, exciting language and the many textures inherent in human personality, psychology and possibility.
As a musician, my approach to writing is often touched by composer/singer sensibilities. If an important passage doesn't 'swing', words, beats and phrasing are played with, until it does. A love of comedy insists on the occasional appearance of the truly absurd and my immense affection for the higher dimensions and their inhabitants, allows me to connect meaningfully to endless, new channels and sources of inspiration...
After the warm responses to a recent publication in Soul & Spirit magazine, I feel even more certain about the positive influence of this work and more devoted than ever, to spreading the message of love and evolving consciousness on planet earth, through creativity and inspiration....
